Production Manager & Technician
Responsibilities:
Supervision
• In charge of garment manufacturing and production process;
• Coordination, control and monitoring of production line and workers;
• Interface with production, purchasing, warehouse, quality control, shipping and other internal functions on materials availability, production planning and logistic arrangement
• Planning of usage of machinery, work schedules, assignments and production sequences, production timeline to meet production targets / goals
• Reporting on production status
• Problem solving for all matter related to production/technical issues among samples, quality, in-line production, and final shipment to improve effectiveness and efficiency
• Analyzing performance of operators and helping HR department
Technical
• Maintenance of all the garment machineries and its spare parts.
• Repair machinery and troubleshooting the small and daily hurdles coming in the production of garment
• Providing assistance to operators regarding operation of machinery and parts.
Communication
• Close communication with top management and merchandising team with updates to production for each single operation and technical related information and advises on any changes
• Tackle quality problems and initiative preventative measures.
Requirements:
• minimum of 10 years of solid experience in production planning, production scheduling, capacity analysis, control and supervision, process improvement and quality issues in garment manufacturing industry
• Tech qualification and Prior maintenance skills is must
• Should have good exposure in garment plant and machinery maintenance with strong technical and production background , and full knowledge of all kinds of sewing machines, automated machines, garment stitching related machineries and technology
• Familiar with ERP & MRP (Enterprise Resources Planning & Material Requirement Planning) and Computer
• Fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
