Full Requirement:
Assesses designs, organizes, develops, evaluates and assumes responsibility for community outreach programs. Maintains standards of professional practice and patient care. Maintains accurate and complete records. Develops and provides community education and maintains a process to promote and maintain a positive `relationship within the community. Provide patient and family education
Education:
An RN graduate of an accredited School of Nursing. Current BLS and ACLS course completion, if appropriate. Current BLS, PALS and ACLS instructor preferred. Diabetic Education certification.
Experience:
A minimum of five years recent experience as an educator. Community education experience preferred.
Skills:
Good oral and written communication skills. Must be able to relate to patients, physicians, hospital staff, visitors and regulatory bodies. Able to maintain confidentiality of information. Possesses strong skills in prioritization, teaching, coordinating and presentation of programs. Effective interpersonal and critical thinking skills. Demonstrates the ability to work independently.
