· Lead large/multiple engagements
· Provide leadership to practice and direction on engagements beyond individual contribution
· Manage client relationships and play an active role in expanding existing work
· Develop others by sharing expertise, coaching, and mentoring
· Ensure overall work product quality by leveraging expertise across the organization
· Is perceived as an internal expert resource with strong industry or service line knowledge
· Effectively manage project budget
Candidate Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree, MBA preferred
· High level of sophistication about financial management, organizational assessment, and strategic planning
· Management perspective to translate client feedback into coherent project plans
· Passion and drive for both sales and problem solving
· Strong analytical, project management, and communication skills
· Proven thought leadership as indicated by speaking engagements and/or publications
· Ready-made network of industry contacts and potential prospects
Standard requirements for a Director are:
· Consistent quality of work product requiring limited to no direction/guidance from MD.
· Solid project manager; able to lead several Huron and client activities.
· Responsive to client needs and inquiries; able to handle project issues with limited to no guidance from MD.
· Receives positive feedback from client.
· Works directly with client to determine new and fresh ideas and approaches to solve client problems.
· Able to identify and communicate other Huron services that may be of assistance to client.
· Manages multiple engagements.
· Demonstrates strong consulting skills and analytic techniques.
· Receives positive feedback consistently on performance from supervisors, peers, and direct reports.
· Has interest in domestic and potential international engagements
· Actively looks for ways to develop project team members and coachees.
· Is well respected by practice team members and promotes work/life balance.
· Actively participates in practice and Huron initiatives.
· Leader for project team, practice, and Huron.
· Manages project budget including timely billing and collection.
· Is viewed as a contributor to practice success.
· Demonstrates strong technical competence.
· Demonstrates industry and practice knowledge outside of specific practice.
· Is well known in the industry. Considered a thought leader and maintains a good reputation with clients.
