Qualified candidates must:
- Have a current RN license
- Be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Be currently working in a hospital
- Be able to legally work in the USA (or be a citizen of Canada, Mexico or Australia)
- Have critical care experience
- Have ACLS and CPR certification
We prefer candidates who:
- Have BSN degree
- Have PACU experience
A PACU RN must be able to independently care for post-operative patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards/protocol. Person must possess critical thinking skills to be able to take care of the post-operative patients quickly and efficiently. RN is able to delegate appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team. PACU nurse is is responsible for his/her own professional accountability and development. The PACU adheres to the Standards of Practice outlined by the American Society of Peri-Anesthesia Nurses.
Preferred Certifications: CPAN encouraged

Spacelab monitors, nellcor pulse ox, Glucometer, McKesson, ICP Monitors
