The Clinical Manager manages and coordinates activities of Nursing and Support Staff in large unit or multiple units to ensure patient care is provided in accordance with established standards and legal requirements. Ensures continuity of care is maintained during all shifts of unit/units providing 24-hour patient care. Develops, reviews, revises, submit, and implements goals, procedures, and objectives for assigned Nursing units. Develops, submits, and administers budgets for assigned area. Monitors, evaluates, and modifies staffing patterns in order to properly utilize Nursing and Support Staff to provide patient care.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor`s of Science degree in Nursing
• Current Texas RN license required
• Minimum of 3 years of experience is required in a nursing management role.
• BLS and ACLS are required
• A strong leader is needed

The PCU manager position involves responsibility over a 28 bed progressive care unit/cardiac unit and a 14 bed step down unit primarily post EENT surgical patients with PCU/med-tele overflow. Both units are constantly turning over patients because of the patient population. Candidates must be able to handle this patient volume and the fast turnover.
