Main Accountabilities
1) Sales & Marketing:
• Overall Accountability and Achievement of agreed annual Budget of United Kingdom.
• Overall company sales plans - short/medium term, e.g. territory plans, targets (individual/region)
• Develop and Implementation of marketing plans/strategy.
• Identification and development of major key account customers, e.g. distributors, hospitals, etc.
• New product Planning/ Launches.
2) Human Resources:
• Recruitment, development and management of a team of successful people in U.K
• Monitoring activity of the team working with them to improve performance and capabilities.
• Setting the targets for the regions/countries and monitor the achievement on a constant basis against set targets.
• Management and Training of other staff - recruitment, target setting, training, etc. Overall HR planning to ensure optimum use of organization structure, sales training strategy, Management performance’s systems, etc.
3) Commercial:
• To develop a cohesive and robust distribution structure facilitating product supplies.
• Maintenance of stocks at optimum level to ensure customer demand is covered
• Participation in stock level management, creditors/debtors handling.
4) Legal:
• Complying with all the legal liabilities.
• Payment of taxes; legal fees etc
5) Product Pipeline decision and Registration:
• Designing product pipeline for future launches.
• Registering the products with NAM and MoH.
• First Hand Knowledge of Registration and Regulatory guidelines.
6) New Market:
• Setting up overall operations
• Product Registration, Sales, Distribution and Marketing.
• Business development in the new markets.
Overall responsibility/accountability (Budget, Sales, HR, Logistics, Commercial, etc) of entire operation for United Kingdom.
Work Relations
The Job Holder must be able to work effectively with colleagues in all departments within Torrent and with external contacts.
Internal Contacts:
Key internal contacts are – Entire team of other SBUs, Finance Team, Supply Chain Department, R&D centre, Plant and HR Dept to define and monitor strategic direction as well as the implementation of company plans.
External Contacts:
Regional Key Customers, Key Opinion Leaders, etc.
Others external contacts may be included

| Kenntnisse erforderlich: |
British Nationality Individual Preferred.
Male/Female;
Likely 30-45 years old, but the search may not be restricted by this range;
Fluent English would be an pre-requisite :
University degree, MBA is a benefit;
Minimum 5 years experience within a top management position within the pharmaceutical industry; established contacts in the industry;
Working experience in U.K Pharmaceutical industry will be added advantage
Experienced in working in an international company environment, the person should have a business strategic approach and proven results in building up teams and developing the operations. He/she should be able to identify and assess present and future market developments;
Entrepreneurial spirit, business sense, drive and self-motivation;
The person should have outstanding interpersonal skills. It is highly essential that the person is independent, self-starter, hands-on, pragmatic, goal and results oriented and a good business developer.
Willing to travel frequently
Working knowledge of Computers (MS office- word, excel, PPT, etc) for presentation, calculations, etc.
