Position Summary
The Director of Employee Health Services is a professional nurse who assumes the responsibility for implementation and management of Employee Health Services` (EHS) programs at John C. Lincoln Health Network. Programs include worker compensation, post-offer and for-cause drug screens and health assessments, pre-employment health screens, ADA accommodation studies, wellness initiatives, regulatory compliance, FMLA/Disability claims management, TB and other contagious disease prevention screening, monitoring, and immunizing.

Skills and Qualifications
- BSN or equivalent associates degree and experience with 3-5 years progressively responsible experience in occupational health nurse management, with work comp management experience
- Current Arizona or other compact state RN license and Certified Occupational Health Nurse through American Board for Occupational Health Nurses (ABOHN)
- Preferred candidate has held an occupational health director position previously with strong workers compensation background.
- Current BCLS

Position Description
The Employee Health Services Director will act as a consultant to employees, Human Resources and management on employee health, work comp, FMLA, disability, and safety control standards and practices. S/he will collaborate with Infection Control as needed.
S/he is responsible for developing programs and managing the daily operations of the EHS offices for both hospital campuses, including budgets. S/he is also responsible for supervising the Manager of Employee Health Services on the Deer Valley campus and staff on the North Mountain campus. The hospital locations are about 5 miles from each other.
1. Coordinates all aspects of the Workers` Compensation program for JCLHN.
2. Establishes and reviews programs and develops policy and/or procedures pertinent to delivery of EH services, in keeping with Infection Control, Network policies and regulatory guidelines.
3. Develops and implements programs to enhance and improve the
State of health and wellness of JCLHN employees and volunteers. This includes, but is not limited to education programs, immunization programs, and wellness programs.
4. Oversees the delivery of services to customers/clients served in North Mountain EHS office; ensures same level of service at the Deer Valley EHS office; directs and delegates assignments and accountabilities to EHS staff. Selects, develops, trains and retains qualified staff, maintaining costs within budgetary guidelines. Supervises and oversees the same functions at the EHS office at Deer Valley.
5. Supervises and implements all personnel screening at both campuses for post-offer new employee processing, including health assessments/ drug screens, return to work assessments, with consideration of ADA /FMLA requirements, in consult with Human Resources and dept. Managers, as appropriate.
