Our client: Our client, one of the leading international construction groups, with worldwide diversified activities, offers a full range of services in engineering and construction projects. The firm`s evolution over a 50-year span is reflected in its continuing record of achievements performing major civil, industrial and electromechanical projects worldwide. On behalf of the client, we are looking for QA/QC Senior Engineer with specialization in concrete works to work in Libyan office of the company.
Project description: Tripoli Harbor Breakwater Reconstruction, Libya
Construction of a rubble-mound-extend berm in front of the existing breakwater including the round head together with associated armoring of rock and pre-cast concrete cubes. Additionally, among others: construction of a new primary layer of acropode units and secondary armoring of rock as well as sewage outfall and associated works through the breakwater.
Responsibilities:
The QC Manager shall be responsible to supervise and perform QA/QC activities including inspection of site works, laboratory and quarry material testing in the Tripoli Harbour Project which consists of repair and complete the construction of the main breakwater including repair of concrete walls, casting and placement of pre-cast acropodes and selection, testing and placing rocks.

| Kenntnisse erforderlich: |
BSc civil engineering
Minimum 12 years experience in all Quality Control activities including but not limited to concrete inspections, material inspection, and lab. Tests.
Previously assigned as QA/QC Manager in Major projects (ideally marine)
Good Knowledge of International Standards BS, ASTM, ACI,…
Aware of ISO:9000 and implementation of IMS
Ability of preparation of IMS documents QC Plans, ITP, .
English, (Arabic is an asset) |
