My client is a leading Global reinsurer with a business model based on a twin-engine model: Life and Non-Life reinsurance.
My client is currently looking for a:
Business Analyst (100%) m/f
Responsibilities:
* You will be responsible for the development of the risk engine.
* You manage interdisciplinary projects including mathematical and data modeling as well as IT design.
* You will collect global requirements from financial modeling as well as other departments.
* You assume a leadership role in providing IT with the specification for software developments, and you make sure that the requirements are implemented in a transparent, auditable, and well tested environment.
* In this function you will support the Global Financial Modeling team and work in close collaboration with IT in order to achieve a sound architecture, implementation, and quality assurance process.
* In addition, you will participate in research projects related to numerical analysis problems, attend professional conferences and represent my client by giving talks. |
| Kenntnisse erforderlich: |
Qualifications and Skills:
* You have a university degree in the fields of mathematics, modeling or computer science and already several years practical working experience ideally in insurance/reinsurance and/or a financial institution.
* Furthermore you have both experience in project management and in mathematical and data modeling and also a sound understanding of designing IT systems and data warehouses.
* You are familiar with computer programming and able to conduct simulations. Your English is excellent, German or French is a plus.
* Excellent analytical capabilities, the ability to work within a small group and to interact with a number of globally situated departments and persons. Cooperation, reliability, reasoning in a comprehensible manner and the willingness to learn are well known to you.
