We are looking to hire a Project Director for the Masdar project in Abu Dhabi.
The ideal candidate should have 18+ years of experience out of which 2-4 years must be in the UAE having worked on large Building projects.
Salary - Negotiable
Job Summary:
The Project Director is the project lead and is responsible for the overall performance of the project and assumes accountability for the performance of various entities contracted by the project to perform the services required to deliver the Project Company`s obligations to the various project stakeholders. Ensures client’s vision is achieved by managing the client’s expectations. The Project Director serves as the senior AECOM representative for the project and is responsible to lead by example in his personal conduct and professional oversight of all project aspects.
Responsibilities:
• Client liaison and client management.
• Manage master plan and infrastructure design.
• Responsible to oversee construction delivery by major contractors.
• Lead the implementation and oversight of the AECOM safety program.
• Lead the implementation and oversight of the AECOM Sustainability Vision and create a work environment where Sustainability & Innovation Initiatives are a daily activity.
• Ownership and implementation of the project Vision and, responsible for updating and communicating to the project team and obtaining management, support and approval
• Accountable for the Project financial operating performance, including occupancy, operating expenses, net operating income.
• Responsible to oversee out year planning, and all other aspects of the project both financially and technically
• Creation of a working environment where teamwork is a top priority, leveraging off the benefits of providing the full range of services within AECOM.
• Develop & maintain a communications plan for all project stakeholders and regularly update in conjunction with the project team and the client
• Produce, update and report on the Overall Project Schedule and action and communicate critical path activities that will influence key milestones. Ensure critical internal milestones are incorporated into the schedule
• Commercial understanding and administration of the project operating and legal documents.
• Production of project reports including, monthly and quarterly reports.
