Project manager for Japanese to English financial translation projects

Position details
Elanex is seeking a project manager to manage rapid turnaround Japanese to English financial translation projects. You will manage translators and editors to complete each project, recruit and evaluate new team members over time, and manipulate documents to ensure they meet client specifications. We are currently looking to fill a near full time position. You will be able to work from your own location/home or any Elanex office.
Language/Hours
The work schedule would be 8am-5pm JST Monday through Friday. You can be based in Japan, Australia or just about anywhere as long as they can work those hours.

| Kenntnisse erforderlich: |
Requirements
• Native level English proficiency
• JPLT level 2 or equivalent Japanese ability
• Diploma or Degree in finance/related field
• Experience in the translation industry
• Experience using a translation memory application
• PC with Windows XP and Microsoft Office 2007 or later (laptop is preferable)
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
• Willingness to learn Elanex’s technology
• Organized, punctual, detail-oriented, and good at working in a team
Desired qualifications (but not required)
• Experience as a translation project manager
• Experience with DTP
• Experience in the financial industry
