Our Client is is an international leader in the creation and licensing of semiconductor System-on-Chip Intellectual Property (SoC IP) and in the development and manufacture of DAB digital and connected radios.
The Role
Work within the Developer Technology team to analyse internal and competitor’s hardware by designing, writing, porting and maintaining benchmarks and analysis tools on multiple platforms. The position also requires a good understanding of the market and the underlying graphics technologies. This role includes occasional visits and presentation to customers and direct communication with 3rd party developers. It will bring you into contact with current and future generations of cutting edge graphics hardware targeted at a wide range of desktop and embedded devices.
Primary responsibilities will include
-Write applications, tools and benchmarks to analyse performance and features of a wide range of platforms with accelerated graphics
-Understanding the market and following the release of new devices
-Clear presentation of results and conclusions to internal teams
-Interact with other teams to make the whole product successful

| Kenntnisse erforderlich: |
Required Skills
-1-3 years development experience on computer graphics, or an excellent graduate with direct experience
-Excellent C/C++ programming skills
-Excellent communication skills
-Completed at least one project using the Direct3D or OpenGL API
Desirable Skills
-Good experience on Linux
-Experience with DirectX or OpenGL shading languages
-Experience on Symbian or WinCE
-Experience with hardware and platform architecture
-Keen interest in the computer graphics market
-Interest in gaming technology
