Key responsibilities
* Financial reporting, both periodic and ad hoc
* Coordination of tasks held by Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Treasury
* Releasing prepayments
* Ensuring payroll journal is posted correctly
* Control of intercompany reconciliation process
* Ensuring that service provision meets KPI
* Develop and maintain appropriate client / customer relationship
Qualifications
* Fluent German
* Very good English communication skills (written & spoken)
* Master degree in accountancy, economics or finance
* Minimum 2 years of proven experience in a similar role
* Knowledge of GAAP`s, SOX control and reporting standards/procedures is an advantage
* MS Office (mainly Excel) skills are essential; ERP literacy is desirable (SAP, Oracle)
* Flexibility, especially in the period of month/year end closing
* Ability to work analytically within a problem solving environment
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Strong organizational, multi-tasking and time-management skills
