Client:
The EPC Contractor is one of the major Company for the supply, installation, and commissioning of instrument /control system works and will be the PMC technical counterpart for the execution of the project.
Project:
Control System Modernization Project in National Oil Refinery (Libya).
Contract duration: 16 – 18 months
Starting date: 15th October 2009
Rotation: 4 months on / 1 week off ( + 2 days for travelling)
Number of positions: 1
Location: Libya
Responsibilities:
- Check the quality system applied by the Contractor to the project and advice the Owner
- Check that Contractor performs work in accordance with the applicable quality system requirements.
- Check that vendors certificates and quality control certificates, are provided and correctly filled by
the contractor for quality assurance/control purposes.
- Review and audit approved welding procedures and welders qualification procedures that are approved
by EPC Contractor.
- Monitor compliance of various statutory rules, regulations and cause EPC Contractor(s) to arrange and
co-ordinate site inspection, testing, etc. as required under local statutory rules and regulations.
- Cause EPC Contractor(s) to take all necessary precautions to protect construction work and materials
from damage by climate, outside elements and construction activities.
- Alert the Owner and the EPC Contractor(s) immediately of any use of materials not in accordance with
the drawings and Project specification and recommend immediate corrective action
- Review EPC Contractor’s schemes for heavy/critical equipment erection/lift/rigging before any
contractor effects such critical/heavy lifts.
- Conduct periodic Quality/Technical Audits to identify the EPC Contractor(s) work that may be unsatisfactory
in quality, and/or is not confirming to the EPC Contract(s)
- Advise EPC Contractor(s) to take immediate appropriate corrective actions as and when such
discrepancy arises to fulfill quality.
Company offers:
Basic Working Hours: 6 days/week - 8 hours/day
Overtime rate : to be quote separately
All social burdens, labour costs, insurance costs, taxes and whatever Libyan laws require shall be included in the proposed rates
All mob/demob costs, local transport costs, accommodation and living allowance costs, leave travel costs, interview costs shall be included in the proposed rates

| Kenntnisse erforderlich: |
Previous experience in PMC and Instrumentation Control System works.
Engineering diploma in field of Electronics / Control Systems
Minimum 4 years experience on relevant position
Excellent English communication skills
Proficient use of Microsoft Office tools.
Good communication and analytical skills
