Are you a Medical Oncology Physician with extensive clinical training, experience and skills in multidisciplinary tumour services in breast, gynaecology, gastrointestinal, head and neck and lung tumours; on site radiotherapy facilities, comprehensive palliative care service, cancer genetics service and a full range of support services?
Wow, that’s a mouthful, but we know that exceptional oncology specialists are very important people because of their ability to apply extensive medical knowledge to a wide range of patient presentations. And we need your skills Down Under!
We currently have a vacancy for a Medical Oncologist in a metropolitan hospital. This Oncology Unit is currently seeking applications from enthusiastic, adult Medical Oncologists to join their close knit, professional team. The Unit has a strong commitment to the highest standards of patient care, registrar training and a strong research interest in new drug development, immunotherapy and pharmacodynamics/pharmacokinetics. It has a fully integrated Palliative Care service consisting of 2 palliative care specialists, a large Radiology Oncology service onsite with 9 specialists and multidisciplinary meetings in all major solid tumour types. The Hospital is a level III (University) hospital with an active teaching program. The hospital has a 28 bed cancer ward for provision of integrated oncology, haematology and palliative care and a large ambulatory care facility.

| Kenntnisse erforderlich: |
• Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) or equivalent as deemed following assessment with Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP)
• Extensive Clinical training, experience and skills in oncology
• English language proficiency as required for registration
• Evidence of recency of practice
• Maintenance of ongoing CME programs
