My client is a part of the Product Identification Platform of a Corporation which is one world-leading manufacturer of coding equipments, printing and laser marking products, fluids, and accessories for the product identification industry, Automotive, Pharmaceutical, printing and mailing service markets etc. It is a part of group, with global revenue of several billion $. It is part of a global company which has 50,000 offices in the world, 3000 of which are in UK and 20,000 in Europe.
It is headquartered in US IL and having its presence more than 100 countries and having strong direct and distribution network worldwide.
They have direct operations worldwide, including Austria, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, Ireland, Japan, The Netherlands, Portugal, Russian, Singapore, Spain and the United Kingdom, with more than 250 direct sales and service personnel in the United States alone. Their distribution network includes over 175 distributors and OEMs.
Due to constant market demand, my client is looking to recruit an experienced DBSL lead.
Role Description
Position: DBSL Lead
Location: Limburg Germany
Salary: Highly Competitive market rates!!
Position: Permanent
Purpose of the position:
The key function of this position is to lead and drive Quality, Delivery, Cost improvements and improve working capital utilization within the EMEA region. The person is responsible for promoting and facilitating the successful implementation of DBS systems for the client in EMEA.
The Challenge/Key Improvement Priorities:
• To improve the back office productivity in sales and service operations and regional operating centre Client Business Systems and implement the standard work for Country Managers
• To improve the QDC through DBS in EMEA key value streams (Pre-Sales, Services, Sales Order and Logistics).
• Develop and execute standard processes that support Regional Operation Centre and centralized inventory project.
• Drive DBS immersion on-boarding and self sustaining in EMEA.
Key Requirements
• Lean Tools that drive QDC improvements. Passion for process
• Work experience of 10+ years and 5+ years in lean production environment.
• Have European experience in QDC in manufacturing and/or other operation through lean /TPS tools and techniques.
• Must speak fluent English and at least one other European Language
• Skills required – Influence, engage and manage change in heavily matrix organization.
• Must be very customer focused and have strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Education-B.S in Engineering /Business management(MBA desirable)
• 60% travel and remainder of time in home office/ Limburg, Germany
