General Medical Nurses Needed!
A prestigious and reputable hospital based in one of the greenest boroughs in London is currently looking for band 5 staff nurses to work on their General Medical Wards.
The hospital is conveniently situated near several tube stations in East London as well as boasting a number of bus routes that pass right by the hospitals grounds.
The hospital is looking for permanent Band 5 Medical Staff Nurses to work in a number of areas including:
• General Medical
• Gastroenterology
• Cardiovascular
• Acute Stroke
• Palliative care
• Respiratory
The successful applicants will ideally have at least one years experience in a medical ward and preferably will have been working within the public health sector.
Responsibilities
• Providing first rate care to patients in accordance to hospital policy
• Being responsible for assessing, treating, educating and advising patients
• Adhering to regulations and policies specific to the department of the hospital
• Working autonomously as well as within a close knit team
• Communicating efficiently with both colleagues and patients
Requirements
• Eligibility to gain NMC Registration
• At least 1 year experience working on a general medical ward
• A team player with exemplary communication skills.
• Cardio, gastro, respiratory or stroke experience preferred.
• Knowledge of other medical specialties.
