Acute Stroke Nurses Needed!
A prestigious and reputable NHS Hospital based in East London is currently looking for band 5, 6 & 7 staff nurses to work in their New Acute Stroke Unit.
The hospital is conveniently situated near several tube stations in East London as well as boasting a number of bus routes that pass right by the hospital.
The successful applicants will ideally have at least 6 months experience in an acute stroke unit or at least 1 years experience in and acute medical ward. Preferably you will have previous experience working within the public health sector.
Responsibilities
• Providing first rate care to patients in accordance to hospital policy
• Being responsible for assessing, treating, educating and advising patients
• Adhering to regulations and policies specific to the department of the hospital
• Working autonomously as well as within a close knit team
• Communicating efficiently with both colleagues and patients
Requirements
• NMC Registered or eligibility to gain NMC Registration
• Acute stroke experience preferred.
• At least 1 year experience working on an Acute Medical Ward
• A team player with exemplary communication skills.
• Knowledge of other medical specialties.
