Arts Administration Press & Marketing Online Internship
Full or part time
Academic credit and small stipend available.
BAX/Brooklyn Arts Exchange is seeking a self-motivated, organized individual with an interest in online marketing.
Responsibilities:
WEB
• Maintain BAX’s website
– update content using wordpress
– act as liason between P&M Director and the website developer
• Maintain Facebook & other social media sites/pages
• Increase membership to the social media sites/pages
Email Blasts
• Compose and schedule the weekly BAXnews eBlasts.
• Maintain the corresponding email lists (in Constant Contact and FileMaker)
Requirements:
• Must have a working knowledge of WordPress
• Some knowledge of HTML helpful but not required
Interns will receive free admission to BAX dance & theater performances, discounts on classes and workshops and invaluable experience.
Interns are expected to commit to no less than 24 hours per week for a minimum of 3 months. Duties may vary with interests, experience and needs of the marketing department.
