1 Visa Front Office Trainee
To whom it may concern:
I would like to apply for a Front Office Trainee position that you
recently advertised in the internet.
After one year being an exchange student in the USA, I`ve learned a lot
about the country and culture.
Upon my return to Germany, I started my vocational-technical training
program as a hotel management trainee at the Lindner Congress Hotel in Frankfurt. In July 2003 I finally had my final examination.
Since then, I worked regularly as a Front Office Secretary / Clerk for lawyers and hotels.
During my traineeship in the Lindner Congress Hotel, I worked in the following hotel positions:
Reception, Reservations, Sales, Banquet Office, Housekeeping,
Food & Beverage Office, Restaurant, Room Service and Bookkeeping.
In my present position as a receptionist in a Best Western Hotel I have been able to improve my skills and further develop my abilities involved in the daily routines of the hotel.
Some of the skills and abilities I have developed include working well as
part of a team and openness with hotel guests. I welcome learning on the job, I am flexible, loyal and knowledgeable about my employer and provide good customer service.
Because I want to increase my professional knowledge and experience
typically American business conditions I would be very happy to earn a practicum position in your hotel.
I feel a strong affection for the United States and appreciate Americans’ friendliness and openness.
