| The Louvain CSR pole of excellence promotes teaching, fundamental research, applied research and consultancy services in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in order to inspire all those involved in running organizations, including not-for-profit ones. It combines disciplines as varied as human resources management, marketing, company law, social law, economic and social ethics, philosophy, sociology of organisations, etc., and contributes to major developments and reflections concerning the relationships between business and society. The Louvain CSR pole of Excellence brings together people notably from the Center Entreprise-Environment and the Chaire Hoover, and is involved in different international networks among which the Global Responsible Leadership Initiative (GRLI), the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD), the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC) and the Corporate Social Responsibility Europe (CSR Europe). |
