| CCCO is a non profit organization serving the community with the enrichment of classical music. We provide two services; we provide a service to the youth in which they have an opportunity to play in an orchestra setting every Saturday and learn Music Theory, Music Fundamentals, and Music History; we also provide a performance with semi-professional musicians to provide the highest caliber performance possible.
To date we have been able to provide the community with outstanding guest artists such as Mark Nuccio from the New York Philharmonic, Anne William, prinicpal cellist, from the Pittsburgh Symphony, Aruturo Delmoni, concertmaster from the New York City Ballet Company, and many more.
This upcoming concert on August 3rd 2008 at 4:00 pm will be held at the newly opened Kirk Douglas Theatre. It is the first time the Theatre has allowed non -profit organizations the use of the Theatre other than plays. This makes our organization move up one more level higher than before performing only in churches and gymnasiums. |
