To give you a bit of background, we are an office of 13 professional full time staff (10 LA's and 3 draftees), 2 part time LA students, a receptionist/office administrator and a part time office assistant. Unfortunately we are about to lose one of our senior staff, who has excellent skills in design and detail design. Apart from the 3 directors and one of our senior cad draftspeople, all the other staff are aged under 35. The organisation has a friendly and relaxed culture, where we try to accommodate staff needs and requirements. Teamwork, cooperation and respect for others is expected from all our staff. Our work would be considered mainstream landscape architecture (ie. predominantly the traditional service of design, documentation and contract administration) on medium to large scale projects, with a focus on design excellence, attention to detail and provision of a high level of service to our clients (90% of our work is repeat work for existing clients). This attitude is instilled in all our staff. While we are very busy, we do not expect outrageous work hours from our staff.
