| Sierra Golf Club meets several international standards. The Sierra Golf Club offers a challenging, 18-hole championship (par 72) course with a modern driving range (26 covered rain stands), a putting, chipping and pitching green.
The club currently has over 220 members. The number of golf fans is constantly growing which helps to enhance the level of the game. This is why our calendar features new, prestigious events every year.
The Sierra Golf Course was designed by Scottish-born Cameron Sinclair, a Golf Course architect. A model of natural terrain configuration was created in the preparatory phase with the help of a state-of-theart GPS system. The natural landscape was enhanced with numerous mounds and hollows; creeks and water reservoirs were cleaned and widened. The terrain was drained and an integrated computer watering system was installed on the entire playable area. Sierra Golf Club is offering 38 "Club Car Precedent" equipped with an innovative "Golf GPS" system. The GPS device with an 11 inch LCD screen and Wi-Fi wireless telecommunications module supports the golfers with maps, distance information, player positions, scores and various tips. The system also makes it possible for the players to communicate with the Clubhouse, order sandwiches and soft drinks. It also allows the reception employees to raise an alarm during thunderstorms or emergencies.
This hospitable place has been designed for demanding guests. The luxury Clubhouse has an area covering over 1000 square metres. The Clubhouses inside represents a unique atmosphere with two fireplaces, a pool room, bar and restaurant, two simulators, comfortable locker rooms and a well equipped Pro Shop. |
