We are looking for an au pair to join our family for one year (or more). We have a delightful son who is aged 3 (he will be 4 in November 2007) and we would like to find a "special person" who will be his companion when we are not there. From September 2007, I will be starting work and both myself and my husband will then be working full-time. Our son will be going to nursery/pre-school at least 5 half days per week and possibly a couple of full days. We would like the au pair to drop him off and collect him and keep him amused until one of us gets home (this may involve playing toys with him, taking him to the park, reading to him or supervising him while he plays).
Our son is our primary concern and this will be the main role but there may also be occasional babysitting and some very light housework (and cooking if you enjoy it!)
We would genuinely like you to feel part of our family, eating with us and going on outings with us (if you wish to). We would also be very supportive of your English studies and social life.
We will be moving to a suburb of Leeds in the next few months and would like an au pair to join us from July or August 2007, allowing us a period to settle you (and our son) before I start work in September.
You will be given your own room with TV and stereo. You will also have access to the internet and probably free calls home (depending on your country of origin) via the internet. If you are able to drive, have a clean driving licence and would like the flexibility of using a car, this can probably be arranged, however is not a requirement of the job.
