The job incumbent is responsible for the performance of quality inspections of equipment, products, installations, etc. to determine their conformity with reference requirements (standards, specifications, regulation, etc). He usually carries out his tasks independently, with minimum supervision, and these may be on well-identified, or isolated assets, or on complex installations. The inspector may act in any field of the relevant Business line, within the scope of his qualifications and certifications.
- Rapports to the Technical Manager Lifts
- Selection/purchase/calibration/replacement of equipment (like measuring instruments) in consultation with the Technical Manager
- Draw up the final checklists, work instructions and procedures
- Managing the libraries concerning law, standards, safety components, types and models of lifts
- Contribute interpretations in commissions
- Tasks in accordance to the RISA-scheme
- Checks request on completeness
- Checks documents on completeness and -if applicable- if the documents of trials are present
- Executes -if applicable- the assessment of the technical (construction) file for unity inspections “EG-typeonderzoeken” and ”EG-ontwerponderzoek”
- Checks the documents –if applicable- to see whether the lift is in accordance with the model lift, the example lift or the lift which is a replica of the lift which is already build according to full quality guarantee
- Executes -if necessary- the practical part of the inspection for the good of: “EG-typeonderzoeken” / Final checks Unity inspections
- Executes the assessment of the inspection results and formulates the certification advice
- Draw up -if applicable- the report of “EG-typeonderzoek” or “EG-ontwerponderzoek”
- Checks documents on completeness and -if applicable- if the documents of trials are present
- Executes inauguration-, continuation- and alteration inspection according to the “Warenwetbesluit liften”
- Executes the assessment of the inspection results and formulates the certification advice
- Is responsible for a specialty, in consultation with the Technical Manager Liften
- Uses PBM’s during inspections
- Attends meetings of the Lift department
- Keeps up with developments in lift technique through technical literature |
| Habilidades: |
- Graduate level (Mechanical engineering, Electrical engineering, Aircraft construction or Naval architecture)
- Knowledge of the “Richtlijn liften” and requirements/standards in the area of lifts
- Knowledge of quality systems
- A few years experience |
