The job incumbent is responsible for the efficient and qualitative follow-up of procedures and implementation of procedures, concerning the class- and statutory matters for the vessels connected to the marine centre. He performs the job within the framework of the company Quality Assurance System, the Code of Ethics and the company policy.
- Responsible for the efficient and qualitative follow-up of procedures and implementation of procedures, concerning the class- and statutory matters for the vessels connected to the marine centre
- Maintain contacts to clients, institutions and (flag) authorities regarding class or statutory matters
- Responsible for the execution of the operational tasks, delegated by the head-office as concerns analysis of reports and certificates, computer data input, issue of certificates and international invoicing of the vessels connected to the marine centre
- Responsible for the decisions on class and statutory matters within the head-office delegation
- Consults his superior with questions and in case of doubt and in case of deviations from applicable Rules / Regulations, internal instructions and in case when commercial relations may be effected
- Manage special contracts as delegated by superior
- Participate in the training of new surveyors
- Actively participates in the sharing of knowledge and information (Knowledge Management)
- Continuous learning and developing in his area of responsibility
- Promotes portfolio to the clients
- Maintaining internal and external contact
- Assist in Marketing matters and client’s contact
- Adhere to the execution of the policy concerning occupational health, safety and welfare
- Act as focal point for technical matters related to copmany rules and regulations and/or national or international regulations |
| Habilidades: |
- Graduate level or higher vocational qualification in naval architecture / marine engineering or equivalent
- Extended marine experience 5 years
- Good English language skills
- PC-skills |
