Description:
We are seeking senior PHP developers for exciting web development projects. The developers will work with the team to conceptualize and develop web-based applications that meet the AOU expectations and overall project goals. Candidates will work collaboratively with developers under a project lead. Ideal candidate will have 1 to 3 years of development experience, high technical aptitude, a positive team player attitude, and be excited and ready to be challenged technically and grow overall technical skills.
Qualifications:
A degree in computers (or similar concentration) or equivalent educational background. Candidates must have 1-3 years of PHP experience, including experience in the following:
• High-traffic PHP environments
• Debugging live applications
• SQL (specifically MySQL)
• Object Oriented Concepts within PHP
• PHP and JavaScript
• CVS
• CSS
• Writing modular, documented and efficient code
• Creating HTML tables without the aid of a design tool
Required Skills:
PHP, HTML, CSS, CVS, XML, XHTML, Dreamwaver or other design tool, SSH, Apache, MySQL, SQL, Linux/FreeBSD and Windows.
Candidates must have a portfolio of previous sites developed and code samples available for review.
