Currently - while contract is open - Acclaim Technical Services is looking to hire Pashto Speakers for Oral Translation overseas in Afghanistan. Unlike our other program - which is still open - this Heritage Pashto program only requires the ability to speak Pashto - no written test is required.
This position is a one year contract with the US Gov for overseas work with current pay grade at $158,000 per year with full health coverage. Paid vacation available after 6 months. Farsi, Dari or Urdu not required but good to know.
Candidate MUST be a US Citizen with Valid US Passport - Candidate cannot have any other ACTIVE passport other than US Passport. Candidate must be able to pass security screen and be able to obtain Interim Security Clearance prior to deployment.
This is a great opportunity if you have the ability to speak Pashto but are unsure of writing skills. Make sure to inquire with Andy about this program. The availability of the contract is subject to change but is currently open.
