Preventative and Corrective Maintenance:
· Complete preventative maintenance
routine assignment.
· Maintain accurate records of all changes.
· Liaise with International carriers on
Interconnect issues
· Write software for the various nodes
· Ensure that adequate capacity is
available at all times across all Trunk
routes
· Identify the need for and implement
network optimization, extensions and
enhancements
· Monitor C7 signalling links to prevent
losses on routes to international carriers.
· Troubleshoot and correct all hardware
and software faults in the International
switch and its related transmission
equipment
Provisioning:
· Design and implement No. 7 signalling
links for the International Switch
· Prepare and Implement Office data
change
· Establishing interconnection with other
International operators.
· Implement new and upgraded software
and hardware
Administrative:
· Keep accurate records of all events and
system configuration.
· Analyze traffic statistical data to enable
early fault detection.
· Prepare and submit weekly reports.
· Establish and maintain office equipment
log.
· Ensure the security of all system files
and billing information
· Prepare data transcript for Planned
Works/Network Expansion.
· Prepare Measurement Programs on
International switch to provide statistics
for network planning.

| Habilidades: |
· A BSc Degree in Engineering specializing in Telecommunications.
·5 years experience in the
telecommunication field with at least 2 years experience in telephony switching.
·Training in AXE Switching Equipment or related formal training in telecommunication switching.
·Sound knowledge of C7/SS7 Signaling network protocol.
