Hi, we're looking for a full-time teacher to work at our small, established academy in Samcheok-city. We have a small staff (two native teachers and one Korean teacher). We are a well-established school with an excellent reputation in the city and a well-developed, student-centered curriculum. We are looking for a teacher to teach both grammar and conversation to children between the ages of 6 and 15. Our program is flexible and we encourage creative innovative people to apply for this job. Many of our students have been with us for several years and have an advanced level of English. The previous two foreign teachers taught here for 5 and 6 years, respectively.
We're looking for someone with a healthy sense of humor, responsible, and of course enthusiasm for children and teaching. I would recommend this job for anyone who is looking for a safe, comfortable and above all rewarding experience of teaching abroad.
Here are the basics:
LOCATION
Samcheok is on the East coast of South Korea, in very close proximity to a number of beautiful beaches (a walk or a short bus ride away). Samcheok definitely has a small-town(pop.50,000), authentic Korean feeling to it, while being large enough to have the conveniences and a number of other native teachers. The bus to Seoul runs regularly and takes about 3-4 hours-a great weekend trip.
Samcheok is ideal for someone who enjoys a relaxed, easy life style.

Qualifications (necessary to get a visa)
- Native English speaker
- A bachelor's degree(Original)
- A sealed copy of your transcripts
- Four passport size photo
- A signed copy of the contract
Contract
- One year
- Salary is 2.0 million won a month, or higher, based on
Experience
- Bonus of one month's salary, paid at the completion of the

- Round trip airfare from your home to Korea (incoming flight
Paid for upon arrival, return flight paid for when contract is

- Overtime payment : 20,000won/h
- Medical insurance(half)
The Job
- Classes run from 2:30-8:30 (6 Classes per day)
- Teacher are expected to arrive at the academy at 1:00 to
Prepare for lessons, and stay briefly afterwards for necessary
