Our client is a leading Online Gaming Company; they are looking for Project Managers who will be Responsible for delivery against the project brief and specification on schedule and within budget to required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
* To take lead responsibility for specific project(s), manage project delivery and the associated resources, and act as the single point of contact
* To develop and maintain effective working relationships with project sponsors and other key stakeholders, both internal and external, to ensure full commitment and support for the success of the project
* Deliver projects using PRINCE2, and PRINCE2 derivative, project management methodologies to achieve quality project outcomes
* Lead project team ensuring they complete planned/agreed work to achieve project schedule, quality and cost objectives
* Project compliance, assurance and reporting
* Identify, monitor, mitigate and manage project and operational risk
* Establish and maintain good supplier relations to ensure effective delivery
Qualifications
* Experience within a PRINCE2 environment preferably with formal PRINCE2 certification
* Preferably educated to degree level or with appropriate vocational experience backed up by formal training
* ITIL experience/exposure – preferably ITIL Foundation certification achieved
* Broad IT industry experience
Skills
* Established leadership qualities as a project manager, team builder and effective communicator
* Strong logic, analytical, and problem solving skills
* Effective “plain english” communication using written, verbal, and presentations skills
* Positive, innovative and constructive outlook with a high level of initiative and self motivation
* Business oriented perspective to system support processes
* Strong time management skills with the ability to work with minimal supervision in a team environment
* Ability to "multi-task" and handle multiple activities and priorities at the same time
* Process-focused, attention to detail - a completer
* Good working knowledge of project management methodologies, tools and techniques
* Understanding and experience of appropriate programme management and commercial/contractual principles
* Excellent understanding of departmental processes
* Superior planning skills and expertise with MS Project and MS Enterprise Project Management (EPM)
