A global Oil & Gas Inspection firm with over 26,000 people working across 160 countries require experienced and ambitious professionals for established contracts covering offshore North Sea activity.
Accountabilities / Area of Activity:
Provide a high quality engineering service to internal and external customers within the Pressure Systems engineering discipline and be a source of expert knowledge for both the Business Unit and customers. Operate within agreed authority and according to clients philosophy and strategies. Provide a key support role in planning and implementing engineering strategy, Contribute to the provision of services to fee paying and internal customers in the designated fields of expertise, including; Setting Technical Standards, Management of Inspection Contracts, Design Verification & Inspection, Material & Joining Certification, Failure Investigations. Compliance with United Kingdom Regulations, HSE Guidance Notes and Approved Codes of Practice, SAFed Guidance Notes, standards and customer specifications, Technical seminars, Audit / Surveillance of Quality Systems. Liaise with the Management Team to maximize the value of the services. Keep up to date with developments in standards and legislation affecting their engineering discipline, and supporting change as required. Act as a senior point of referral for technical issues out with the authority of Engineer Surveyor personnel or where guidance or support is required. Provide technical and sound commercial control of contracts undertaken by the group and ensure optimum efficiency and profitability, including; contract review and control, resource allocation, control of sub-contracting, issue of invoices, compliance with quality procedures etc.

| Habilidades: |
- Degree/Chartered Engineer or comparable.
- Incorporated Engineer / HNC (Mechanical Engineering or Metallurgy) In depth knowledge in relevant technical discipline (at least 3 years experience). |
