The position reports to the General Manager: Logistics and forms part of a highly multi skilled task force. Your place of work and residence will be Walvis Bay.

What you can expect:
• Practical participation in challenging projects and close involvement in operative day-to-day business.
• Review integrated supply chain concepts and develop new business services.
• Prepare project tenders
• Support clearing & forwarding quotations processes
• Project manage oil & gas/ other logistic services requirements (e.g. manage shore base facilities for a drilling campaign)
• Analyse client requirements and competitor activity to identify further business opportunities for the Group
• Review processes in Clearing & Forwarding and other logistic areas with a view to achieve business improvements
• Key account management for identified Group customers
What we expect:
• 5 years experience in the freight industry in the region, 10 years is an advantage
• 3 years experience in a management position with staff and revenue responsibility, 5 years is an advantage
• Formal qualification in the freight industry (Diploma/ Degree) is an advantage
• Effective Communication Skills, minimum English and Afrikaans language, German an advantage
