Job Title: HSE Manager
Location: Libya or Egypt
Contract/Permanent: Permanent

Project experience: Power Plant projects
The Position:
Reporting to the Project Manager and responsible for supervising Safety & Health officers and medical staff. The HSE Manager shall be responsible for all project HSE aspects during the site construction works and to implement HSE systems and procedures on the project.
• Provide support in all business activities regarding Health, Safety and Environment
• Ensure that standardised HSE Integrated Management Systems, practices and procedures are developed, maintained and implemented consistently across all project to meet ISO 9001:2000, ISO 14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001:1999 requirements
• Provide necessary requirements for the implementation of the Integrated Management System.
• Prepare the project HSE plans as required by the project and carry out internal audits
• Maintain and review records of client’s complaints, when received and discuss the preventive action in the next management review meeting.
• Prepare and reporting the status of HSE to the Regional Manager
• Ensure HSE training programmes are implemented.
• Participate/Lead in associated HSE Inspections, Audits and Meetings.
• Participate in Job Hazard Analysis, review Method of Statement, and develop Safe Work Plans.
• Implementation of emergency response plans, facilitation of drill and trainings
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Science
• 10-15 years professional experience
• Good command of English language
• Good communication & negotiation skills with clients and Consultant.
Salary /Package:
A competitive tax free annual salary will be offered to the successful individual along with the provision of fully expensed accommodation; three flights per year; 36 day paid leave per year; Medical; fully expensed Car; participation in Corporate Retirement Scheme, after probation period.
