This excellent hospital in Bahrain is in need NICU Registered Nurses who have demonstrated clinical expertise in neonatal nursing, received advanced education and training in the management of high-risk/sick neonates and their families. This is a credentialed to function in an expanded nursing role and is responsible for the consistent management of a discreet caseload of neonatal patients with consultation, collaboration and general supervision from an attending physician. All functions are performed within joint medical/nursing standards and protocols, and in accordance with hospital policies and procedures. NICU RNs work in conjunction with the Physicians to provide family-centered care.
Requirements:
Clinical experience in a Level II (or higher) Labor & Delivery Service, including circulating in an OR setting.
Perinatal experience
Fetal monitoring experience
Clinical experience in a Level II or higher Neonatal Care
Pediatric Acute Care experience
Job description:
24/7 responsibility for preparing and managing, hire, fire, review, and evals for this 24-bed Special Care Nursery, that takes 28 weekers and above. Report to DON: Peds & Perinatal Services. 46 FTEs; all RN Nursing Staff - RNs attend all deliveries.
Education/Licensure/Certification:
• Registered nurse, currently licensed; BSN preferred
Experience Required:
• Minimum 3 years experience as an RN of which at least two are in a Level II NICU or higher
