Copywriter
Are you a Copywriter looking for a new and rewarding opportunity?
Our client are market leaders in the Online Gaming Industry and are looking for an experienced Copywriter to join their team in Gibraltar.
Job Purpose
The role involves creating, implementing and continually improving a true “one-to-one” communication programme in order to maximise ROI from our international customer and lead database. It is a sales-orientated position and success will be based on response rates as well as actual sales results. The role also includes across departments activities such as helping ad hoc on off- and online campaigns.
About the Role
You will be reporting to the Customer activation & retention manager and will be involved in a team highly specialised in:
• Converting registrations into active customers
• Customer retention and ongoing activation
• Churn and win back activities
• Enhancing customer experience overall
About You
You will have in-depth experience of copywriting including a large amount of “one-to-one” customer communication experience targeting large customer databases. Your expertise is mainly business-to-consumer. You are results-driven and work systematically.
We are looking for a person with excellent skills within (copy-) writing and the ability to set up a customer dialogue programme, therefore the role includes both creative ability and a more business focused element. However, you do not need to be technical or a database specialist, since others in the team will fulfill these functions.
Key Competencies and Skills required - Essential
• Excellent written English
• Creative ability. One-to-one writing and communication skills a must, whilst normal advertising copywriting is of added value – able to supply portfolio of work.
• Experience with direct response media highly regarded
• Ability to work to deadlines
• At least 3-4 years of experience within consumer communication
• One-to-one communication skills and techniques
• Team player
Key Competencies and Skills required – Desirable
• Second European language
• International experience
• Knowledge of the online gaming industry
• Experience with online community websites
Our client offers a bonus, healthcare and a very competitive salary.
Salary: £30K - £35k
