A vacancy currently exists in their city centre based offices for a Fund Accountant.
Role
Evaluates and reconciles funds including mutual, benchmark, commingled, and collective for production of client month-end reports or for daily valuation. Verifies diversified transactions, audits income reports within scheduled timeframes, and resolves exceptions on a daily basis for fund accounts.
Key responsibilities will include
• Evaluates and reconciles funds including mutual, benchmark, commingled, and collective for production of client month-end reports or for daily valuation.
• Verifies daily transactions, audits income reports, and resolves exception on assigned
accounts according to procedures and within scheduled timeframes.
• Assists in the timely preparation of reports and financial statements in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles and performance standards.
• Dealing with partner and client inquiries resolving exceptions related to accounts.
• Values funds on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis and performs valuations of client positions, and balances and reconciles accounts.
• Ensures that pool funds are accessible on a daily and monthly basis for investment by keeping track of sales transactions and trade tickets.

| Habilidades: |
Ideal candidate should have:
• 1-2 years experience in an accounts or fund valuation
• Knowledge of accounting and securities processing procedures is required to review and audit reports.
• Excellent organization skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization
• Fluent English is essential |
