Senior Fund Accountant
Due to constant growth our client, a leading financial institution in the global funds industry, is currently looking to recruit a Senior Fund Accountant. This role will be suitable for an experience Fund Accountant in order to progress in an exciting environment.
Responsibility:
„X Evaluates and reconciles complex funds including mutual, commingled, and collective for production of client month-end reports or for daily valuation.
„X Verifies daily transactions, audits income reports, and resolves exception on assigned
accounts according to procedures and within scheduled timeframes.
„X Verifies accuracy of information reviewing reports against performance procedures.
„X Assists in the timely preparation of reports and financial statements in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles and performance standards.
„X Records and responds to partner and client inquiries, providing guidance and resolving
exceptions.
„X Assists manager in researching new accounting issues and security types, and on other special projects. Stays abreast of industry and accounting trends and disseminates information to team.
„X Provides initial training for new staff.

| Habilidades: |
Skills & Experience
„X Knowledge of complex accounting and securities processing procedures, usually obtained through accounting coursework and related experience.
„X Analytical skills are required to research and resolve inquiries.
„X Organizational skills are required to provide client reports within scheduled timeframes.
„X Strong written and oral communication skills are required to disseminate information to team.
„X Ability to operate a keyboard and 10 key adding machine is required to record inquiries and to balance and reconcile accounts.
„X Strong experience in accounting, financial industry operations or fund valuation.
