A Large Investment Bank has asked us to search for their "Head of CRM China / Director"
Department: Credit Risk Management (CRM)
Reporting Line: Reports to the Co Head, Global Markets
Non-Japan Asia Credit Risk Management / Chief Operating
Officer China
Position Objectives: To manage the onshore credit team which analyzes counterparties, identifies and quantifies risk drivers in investment banking transactions, prepares credit proposals, make recommendations and manages counterparty exposure.
Position Description:
1. To manage CRM China team (approved headcount of 4
including team head) perform the following functions :-
Analyze and prepare credit proposal for corporates and
financial institutions under the responsibility of CRM-China
with the aim to recommend an accurate credit risk rating.
· Analyze credit risk of individual derivative trades (typically
structured, across all products in the firm including fixed
income, equities, commodities and foreign exchange) for
transaction approval and counterparty portfolio assessment.
· Analyze global, regional and local market events and their
impact on the portfolio of counterparties managed.
· Liaise with clients, front office staff from various business
divisions (e.g. global markets, relationship managers,
corporate finance) and other CRM units on credit approvals,
credit requirements and relationship matters.
· Follow up on trade execution. Ensure trades are properly
booked / recorded / monitored, credit terms are incorporated
in confirmations / underlying documentation properly
developed.
· Co-ordinate facilities / exposures to groups / subsidiaries of
multi-client groups.
· Daily control and exposure management of credit facilities.
· Constant monitoring of the financial status of all existing
counterparties.
· Follow up on timely receipt of financial information from all
clients.
· Ensuring global risk reporting systems contain timely and
accurate information.
2. Maintain effective relationship with all internal clients, both business lines and other infrastructure groups, at all times promoting best practices associated with the Corporations Credit Policy.
3. Act as a liaison for all regulatory contact required for credit risk matters.

· Quality of credit analysis and decisions for CRM China.
· Timeliness and efficiency of work performed.
· Comments and feedback from colleagues (CRM and other
divisions) and clients.
Pays up to $400,000 (US) Package

| Habilidades: |
Skill Requirements:
8 years + experience in credit analysis with major global
financial institutions.
· Experience with Chinese counterparties is preferable.
· Familiar with regional/international financial markets and
financing structures.
· Product knowledge in respect of key Global Markets (e.g.
swaps, FX, equities, and collateralised
transactions/structures).
· Familiarity with legal documentation and risk issues,
including ISDAs, CSAs, netting, and credit mitigating features.
· Extensive working knowledge of computer applications,
particularly Excel, Powerpoint and Word.
· Fluent in English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin),
both verbally and writing skills.
