Our client provides services in Marine Consultancy and Ocean Engineering to the offshore energy, shipping and insurance industries. The company focuses on the engineering expertise with sound seafaring knowledge to offer services in support of marine operations offshore and technical assurance.

Position : Permanent
Jobs Description:
• Provide mechanical engineering design and construction advice during the project development and execution phases;
• To provide feedback to the Vendor in the design, layout, fabrication, assembly, installation, test and pre-commissioning of offshore piping and facilities, rotating and static mechanical equipment;
• To ensure Vendors compliance with the agreed Scope of Work and Project Schedule;
• To support technical queries in response to Contractors piping and facilities design and layout, rotating equipment and mechanical engineering;
• To provide mechanical engineering support activities in construction and commissioning;
• To provide assistance in Contract activities i.e. tender enquiry documentation preparation, responding to tenderer’s requests for technical clarifications; and the review and clarification of contract tender documents;
• To ensure compliance with company's project management procedures and technical specification;
• To support project team in all Environmental Health Safety (EHS) activities and ensure considerations are made in the design, construction, and installation of the facilities;
• To ensure that vendors meet the expectations of EHS.

| Habilidades: |
Qualifications & Experiences:
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering;
• Minimum 5 years or more mechanical engineering design experience encompassing piping, equipment layout, rotating machinery, pressure vessel and general equipment design;
• Experience in supporting project teams and management of vendors;
• Strong analytical skills, communication and interpersonal skills;
• Possess the ability to work in a multidisciplinary team environment and accountable in a given scope of work;
• Ability to write concise and well structured technical reports;
• Based at vendor’s office and visit to construction and operating sites in line with engineering and design responsibility;
• Demonstrate working knowledge of relevant technical codes and standards within the mechanical engineering discipline;
• Full understanding of HSE importance in planning and executing projects
• Fluent written and spoken English;
• Demonstrate adaptability, self driven with high initiative |
