AZINKA HR&CC is an HR&Recruitment Company and we are seeking for Transport/Logisticstics Manager join the team of our client which is operating in transportation sector in Germany.
This position requires the individual to be detailed oriented and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. The employee needs to have highly developed customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively to our clients. He or she must be skilled in the use of various computer programs and have the ability to work independently with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. The job requires a motivated individual who is capable of working independently and as a team member.
Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Develops and maintains relationships between the corporation, clients, and hotels.
Understands full profiles of each client.
Understands client union requirements associated with lodging and transportation.
Assists clients in lower costs with the following:
Room rate negotiations
Tax exemptions
Forecasts client lodging needs.
Uploads monthly room commitments from crew planning software systems and employee files
Understands tax laws in each city, etc.
Prepares tax exemption recovery analysis.
Monitors client trends and provide analysis reporting.
Works with IT to administer and manage each application.
Supports the billing department with accurate contract information.
Monitors client payments and account receivables in conjunction with Invoice Coordinators.
Provides cost savings recommendations for clients.
Maintains the costs savings spreadsheets for each client.
Participates in weekly staff meetings.
Works with the reservations manager to train and familiarize staff regarding airline clients.
Informs reservations staff of any special lodging arrangements.
Works on special projects as assigned.
On-call duties for client surge situations.
Administers and monitors the use of company credit cards and balances.
Monitors and communicates client complaints from beginning to resolution.
Oversees and administers all hotel contracting.
Facilitates rate increase requests from hotels and transportation vendors with the client.
Conducts weekly conference call with each client. |
| Habilidades: |
Requirements:
University degree in Business Administration, Economics or a related field
3-5 years management experience in logistics, transportation or a related area
Good command of English, German both written and spoken
Strong leadership |
