Tooling Engineer (ref # 678) - A well established and continually growing designer and manufacturer of restaurant table and flatware in central NJ seeks a skilled tooling designer who will assume responsibility for complete ownership of tool engineering activities related to new product development and ongoing manufacturing support. You will interact closely with Engineering, Manufacturing and Maintenance to identify issues and problems, and recommend the appropriate solutions. Specific knowledge and experience with thermoforming and injection molding plastic processes is essential, as are skills in 3D solid modeling software (Solidworks a +). A bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related degree, or a minimum of ten years of thermoform tool design is required. A base salary in the range of $70,000 to $90,000 depending upon level and extent of experience, plus a bonus of 10% (met for several years), 401k, tuition reimbursement, excellent benefits. U.S. residents only. |
