This leading Organisation is seeking an experienced Platform Supervisor / Production Supervisor for a permanent role based in Qatar.
Your duties will be as follows:
General Duties:
1. Ensure technical, economical, environmental and safety aspects in all matters within the area of responsibility, are assessed in a businesslike manner prior to making decisions or recommendations.
2. Ensure that all activities follow Company policies and procedures, hereunder confidentiality, as well as applicable Qatari laws, rules and regulations.
3. Ensure timely preparation, hereunder obtaining approval as applicable, and submission of all documentation to meet obligations to authorities / partners.
4. Develop and/or improve industrial and personal relations to protect Company interests and promote a productive working environment.
5. Ensure that all information, written and verbal obtained in the course of the work is handled in strict confidence.
Specific Duties:
1. Safety: insure that the integrity of the installations is maintained at all times and safe working practices are exercised.
2. Production: ensure a safe and effective production in line with given instructions.
3. Maintenance: ensure that equipment is maintained in safe and useful condition.
4. Construction: ensure that construction activities are executed in a safe manner and according to design.
5. Ensure that no pollution of the environment takes place.
6. Liaise on a daily basis with rigs, barges and vessels working within safety zone.
7. Preparation of work schedules for all personnel.
8. Preparation of daily management report.
To apply you will have experience in a similar role with relevant offshore production experience in the field of Oil and Gas are preferred.
