Are you currently an experienced Transfer Agent seeking a more rewarding working environment, with a wealth of career progression opportunities?
My Client’s Global Hedge Fund Services delivers an extensive solution for Hedge Fund and Funds of Hedge Fund clients seeking independent administration and custody services or to outsource their day-to-day operations.
Purpose: The successful candidate will be involved in migrating or launching a Client’s business onto the HFS business platform. Onboarding teams for each HFS service are required to perform tax lot and balance sheet establishment at a point in time, reconciliation to third party records incorporating accounting and ledger functions, most low-to-medium complexity operational functions, and low-to-medium complexity data analysis functions.
Reporting to the regional Onboarding VP, you will be responsible for the following:
• Successfully implement Transfer Agency Onboarding targets and objectives, both operational and project based.
• Development and maintenance of strong relationships with other workstreams and groups within HFS Dublin and other locations.
• Identify and secure resources required by the department and ensure effective utilisation;
• Ensure that Transfer Agency Onboarding is properly resourced both in terms of personnel and equipment whilst complying with agreed guidelines
• Ensure compliance as appropriate with regulatory requirements and with the relevant short, medium and long-term goals, objectives and values of the company;
• Monitor the development and implementation of appropriate working procedures.
• Lead, direct and manage the department;
• Provide quality leadership and advice
• Make sound operational decisions
• Provide regular feedback to managers and more senior colleagues with regard to performance within the group.
• Assist more senior colleagues when required to do so and deputise in their absence
• Conduct performance appraisals and interviews
• Provide adequate training to Professionals and Officers in support of the overall the company Training Plan
• Handle and resolve complex/unusual operational and managerial problems that are referred from above and below;
• There will also be a major focus will be on department strategy, procedural, staff, process-improvement and general management issues alongside liaison with other workstreams and departments within the company’s Dublin office and globally.

| Habilidades: |
The Successful Individual must have:
• Previous management experience within Transfer Agency
• Detailed procedural, technical and product knowledge of the Transfer Agency Business, complemented by a detailed understanding of Fund Administration.
• Comprehensive working knowledge of MSHARE / other Transfer Agency Systems , MS Office, Powerpoint.
• Knowledge of Policies and Procedures
• Analyictical mind and a focus on accuracy
• Strong communication and people management skills
