Role Description:
We have numerous development roles on projects such as:
Finance, encryption, animation, development of internet products, web development, document management, etc.
Responsible for ensuring all deliverables are high quality including software coding, and product and process documentation. Quality is defined as contributing to solutions that deliver an excellent end-to-end customer experience with a high measure of compliance with business and technical requirements and software architecture/design documents, and product and process documentation. Influence primarily impacts project but will often affect related projects.
Executes Effectively:
• Initiates, develops and drives the adoption of product and process improvements.
• Exercises excellent judgment that balances trade-off decisions and the needs of the key stakeholders.
Builds Strong Teams:
• Supports Staff Software Engineers and Architects, and collaborates with peers to achieve end-to-end quality in our technology and customer experience.
Applies Strategic Thinking:
• Ensures owned and related software designs and code stay true to higher-level requirements, architectural context and designs.
• Demonstrates initiative, creativity, innovation to drive breakthrough product and process ideas to fruition
Typical Deliverables:
• New or enhanced technical designs and implementations of moderate to high complexity
• Software testing strategies, quality plans, unit test plans, unit test cases and associated documentation
• Information, Analysis and Recommendations to support team efforts.
• Software Process Improvements proposed and driven to adoption.
• Presentations for communicating any of the above.
Qualifications:

Experience with application development and expertise in C++, Java, or .Net. Skills vary according to the project you will be assigned to requiring skills such as:
J2EE, Struts, Javascript, kernel development, OOD, multi-threading, MVC, DOM, Spring, Hybernate, CVS, FLASH, AJAX, graphic design, etc.
BSc in Compute Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent.
