My e-commerce client is seeking a Java Developer to work closely with their product architects to enhance the performance and reliability of their legacy systems. He/She will also participate in the development of new industry-leading products.
You will have experience in some of the following:
Java, Servlets, JDBC, Mysql, RedHat Linux, Hibernate, Jetty, Apache, Velocity, AJAX, Ext-JS, and Flex
Skills
You will have the ability to work in a fast paced environment, independently and in a team. You will have the following experience:
* 2+ years of Java Development in an e-commerce environment
* Excellent knowledge of Web site and web application development
* HTML, Javascript, and CSS
* Java web technology landscape: Servlets, JMX, JDBC, Server-side Scripting (Velocity) etc.
* Relational database experience, MySQL preferred.
* Excellent verbal and written communication
* Source Control Systems experience, CVS preferred.
* A good understanding of performance volume testing
