Key responsibilities for this position covers areas including but not limited to:
• Ownership of the system architecture
• Responsibility for design of system or subsystem
• Definition of points for customization of telco's products.
• Definition of the high level business process design
• Participation in design reviews of own and other solutions.
• Alignment of technical solution to business requirements
• Responsibility of testing activities is carried out in accordance with defined processes
• Technical management of outsourced software development activities
Role include experience for but not limited to:
- Understand the over all architectures of messaging platforms including
SMSCs, MMSCs, Unified Messaging, USSD, Application GW
- Understand all the interfaces to the above platforms such as SMPP,
MM7, CIMD2, MAP/SS7, TCP, FTP, SMRSE, VMS and others
- Understand all the Nodes that integrate with the above platforms such
As third party GW, Push e-mail, NPM, OTA, UMS, Welcome SMS, RBT, HLR,
Portal, Charging platforms
- Hands on experience in commisioning the equipment, OS installation,
Configuring and integrating within the customer network
- hands on experience in configuring switches, creating VALNs, and
Setting up services on load balncers using F5 BigIP and Alteon Switches
- IP planing experience
- Security and lock down of all the services for these platforms
- Backup and restore procedures
- Hands on experience in dealing with the customer and creating the
Needed design documents for the entire project
- Working with the Project Manager step by step to make sure that all technical
Issues are addressed
- Customer Requirements collection and mapping to customer solution/proposal (Must have the ability to understand customers technical needs and requirements and based on those to realize the software)
- Consulting and requirements analysis in the field of IN, Value Added Services, Charging and OS solutions
- Project execution – onsite programming/scripting and customization for solution development.
- Integration of 3rd party products as well as customer product lines for solution development
- Support for field trials, acceptance test and solution demos.
- Design state of the art software modules
- Apply design patterns and use UML tools to communicate internally and externally
- Document the development

| Habilidades: |
** Only previous experience with mentioned platforms CAN apply **
-Must have experience with these specific platforms: MMSC, NGW, AGW, PoC, IMS
- This will be part of the delivery team and the responsibilities of the candidate will be to deliver what was ordered and already committed to the customer.
- Candidate will be responsible to make all the configurations needed on the nodes and integrate with the other nodes and perform end-to-end testing for these platforms.
- Other requirements might come along so candidate need to be experts or worked on these platforms before

- Experience with system integrations (IT) and/or mobile telecoms industry is a must.
Solid experience with:
- Integrated development environments, programming systems and documentation tools: ClearCase, Rational Rose, Requisite Pro, CVS, etc.
- Software testing methodologies and tools
- CORBA, EJB, JMS, XML, and J2EE application servers in general
- Internet technologies and protocols: SOAP, HTTP, XML/XSLT, etc:
- Relational database concepts and SQL
- General IP and telecommunication technologies (e.G. TCP/IP, GSM, GPRS, 3G) |
