Job Title: Quantity Surveyor
Location: Khiran, Kuwait
Reports To: Project Manager
Status: Senior
Salary Range: x,xxx Kuwait Dinar base dependent on relevant experience

Qualifications:
• Working toward Chartership with Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors or Equivalent.
• Graduate of BSc – Quantity Surveying and minimum + 2 years experience
Job Purpose:
Quantity Surveyor will be a key member of the Consultant Project Management Team based on-site in Khiran, Southern Kuwait, and will report directly to the Senior Quantity Surveyor/Contract Administrator. The position undertakes two primary roles:
1. Manage assistant QS team to ensure the production of Bills of Quantity, Financial Accounts are in conformance with the contract and programme.

• Ability to work within a close Client/Contractor/Consultant team environment committed to the successful completion of this project.
Key Responsibilities:
Quantity Surveyor will report directly to the Senior Quantity Surveyor/Contract Administrator and lead a team of Assistant Quantity Surveyors to prepare Bills of Quantities for tenders; Interim Payment Certificates and Financial Accounts; and provide data for Cash Flow predications. Key responsibilities include:
• all project phases or contracts
• Plan and manage the job responsibilities of the Assistant QS’s
• Monitor quality and progress of work
• Respond to Contractor queries and review construction issue drawings
• Prepare miscellaneous works contracts, monitor progress and report
• Continually ensuring that practices, policies, strategy and services represent the client’s best interests and that BH policy is in keeping with current legislation, British Standards and Codes of Practice etc.
