Job Title: Senior Electrical Engineer

Qualifications:
• Chartered Engineer or Incorporated Engineer.
Or
• In special circumstances, six years relevant working experience with either a Bachelors degree in Engineering (BEng) or Masters degree in Engineering (MEng) and working towards chartership.

• Established as a strong engineer in consultant electrical engineering solutions.
• Experience of contributing to multiple projects and balancing workload requirements.
• Have a strong belief in the constant delivery of a quality product for clients.
• Be a committed and talented electrical designer with the desire to expand work to lead MEP projects.
• Ability to contribute to co-ordinate with the other disciplines within the practice.
• A natural tendency to contribute to collaborative problem solving in a multi-disciplinary environment.
• Have contributed to the design and delivery of discipline engineering on multiple projects, seeing them through to completion.
• Experience of working within the Residential, Educational and Cultural Sectors would be a distinct advantage.
• Capable of acting as second in command in absence of Job Leader, ensuring internal and external processes area effectively managed.
• Contribute to ensuring profitable project delivery whilst sustaining a positive client development
• Strong communication skills.
• Broad knowledge of the political, legal, environmental and technical issues relating to the sustainable development of the built environment.
• An ability to add value to a project and starting to think beyond their own discipline.
• Career minded and looking for a new challenge, have the potential and ambition to progress within the firm.
• Committed to the immediate and future success of his team.
• A flexible approach and team player.
Key Responsibilities:
• Act as Job Leader and (in some circumstances) Project Leader
• Operate and competently work on an independent basis
• Manage single or multi-disciplinary projects
• Communicate directly with Clients
• Prepare technical and financial proposals for new work
• Plan and monitor job resourcing/expenditure and adjust as necessary
